How can you have fun without the one thing we are told we need if we are to have fun? We need alcohol to feel good about ourselves, right? What is a celebration without our glass of bubbly? What is a party without our elixir of joy? Without alcohol, according to elements of our society, there is no fun, or a very watered down, disconnected version of fun. And if we can’t have fun, what’s the point in anything?
