Great stuff, Kev. I fell into the trap of trying to fill the gap with marijuana – didn’t work. Just left me feeling more miserable and disgusted with myself than ever. I guess I’m still in the transition period, where the new me is struggling to rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes of the wasted life I used to lead.
I think there’s a good reason they call it ‘being wasted’ – I wasted a lot of years (decades) on booze but, having turned 50 last year, I know I haven’t got enough time left to waste a moment. I’m well into the second half of the game and the referee has started glancing at his watch – that’s what keeps me motivated these days.
Appreciate all your vids, Kev – they really help. Thanks very much.
