When I was drinking alcohol, one of my favorite scenes when I went to work was, I can’t wait for it to be the weekend…
And it’s just something I don’t think about anymore… You know, what’s the point in going through your life not liking what you’re doing? For most of your life, five days a week, you’re doing something that you hate and then you’re dying for the weekend to come so that you can
get wasted, and you can start Monday again, with that waste of attitude, you’re dying from the hangover, and then you’re facing into a weekend again, it’s just doesn’t make any sense.
I suppose it’s one of those things that you can’t see until you get out of it. Once you you’re out of it, and you start to see the way you were living your life, and how much of a cause you were, if you see that you were the cause and you’re responsible for it, then it’s that time when you can move forward and start building the life that you want to live. When you get up on a Monday morning you think can’t wait to go into work today. You’re not waiting for the weekend. You’re living your life, like it’s the only life that you’ve got. It’s an important thing to have, don’t waste your life doing something that you don’t want to do. And then get to the weekend where you’re putting yourself into such a state that you don’t enjoy the things that you’re saying that you enjoy. You live in a complete life.
