I can’t tell you how many times I put off getting sober because I feared to be labeled an alcoholic or to have to admit to myself that I lost control. That was just an awful idea. Eventually, something small happened which put my drinking into context. After that, I had no problem with staying away from alcohol. After teaching stopping drinking alcohol for the last decade, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked what do I do if I fail. There really is only one solid answer.
