I always talk about quitting drinking alcohol, from the perspective of the easiest way of looking at it from the beginning, which is keeping the alcohol out of your mouth.
From that perspective, you have one decision to make, and there’s two choices. You either put the alcohol into your mouth, or you don’t. That’s it. Everything else after that is dealing with the habit, the lifestyle, the behavior, the thinking, and the attitude. That comes after you’ve stopped drinking alcohol
Your potential is there waiting for you. What you’re doing in order to move towards that, is the main thing.
