    Great Video Kevin.

I am on day 16 now, and have been doing very well.
I starting watching your videos about a year ago, when I went about 30 days without a drink.
Obviously at that time I fell off the wagon, but still had you and your website in the back of my mind

Today I had the exact thought that you just talked about. “Having one drink wouldn’t hurt”

I’m at my in-laws house (who are out of town) waiting to receive a package in the mail that needs to be signed for.
Plus I work from home off a laptop computer, so I am working now at their house.

I eliminated all alcohol from my home, yet at my in-laws there is full bar stacked with almost every type of alcohol.
Obviously such a nice display and atmosphere surrounded around drinking triggered a craving “one drink wouldn’t hurt.”

As I was fighting the urge I set up my laptop and checked my email and sure enough there is your newsletter. It is as if you read my mind.
I watched the entire video and it was a wonderful reminder to why the thought having just one drink was a terrible idea.

I wanted to thank you for helping me get an upper hand on todays fight against my urges to drink.
Keep up the good work, and I look forward to future posts.

    Jeff

I can see where the inner demons let us drink more and more only to get
back to the place we started from in wanting to quit in the first place!

Your right about once your pissed/drunk, you don’t think you have a
problem. This is what I’m dealing with.

Have you quit acid and cigarettes and other chemicals besides alcohol?

Have you heard of Dr John Mcdougall? He teaches lifestyle medicine with the
emphasis on diet. He has lots of lectures on YouTube but the one titled
‘diet vs drugs’ brilliantly surmises the shortcomings of the medical system
and how most of the diseases filling hospital beds are preventable with a
healthy lifestyle. I think his teachings are quite relevant to your
approach to alcoholism, and his information will certainly help you to make
    better decisions with your diet.

Had to take anti-biotics the other day, they said “no alcohol for a week”,
(during medication) “no problem I said”, I’ll smoke more weed, jeez, the
    1st 48hs I had the shakes, I couldn’t believe I’d gone so far.
