One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when they stopped drinking alcohol is that they don’t change the underlying mentality that’s keeping them locked up in that lifestyle.
It’s nothing to do with the alcohol, it’s the mentality. It’s the instant gratification mentality, thinking that you can go through life, seeking the next quick booze, taste or the feeling, and not really paying too much attention to the long term outcome. Think about the future instead of now, and try and get yourself out of that instant gratification mindset.
