If other people don’t like that you’ve quit drinking, what can you really do about it?

You first have to ask yourself what is your own reality. Once you know that, you don’t let anyone else deflect you from that reality, from those goals that you want in life, from the health that you want in life, from the peace of mind that you want in life… no matter who they are.

Remember: good things happen when you distance yourself from negative people. These people are normally on a level below you in mentality. You’re trying to improve yourself, these people are trying to keep you at their level of thinking, or bring you down to that more primitive level….Keep plodding along the road of your own personal evolution.

    Hi Kevin
    I’ve been watching your videos all year have been great and given me loads of inspiration. I stopped drinking in January as I do every year for dry January and just continued I felt so good but I never really intende to stop totally. And people where asking if that was it and would I go back and my response was always I don’t know!! And lately it’s been on my mind a lot myself weather or not I would. So just yesterday I went to a barbecue and I was asked what I wanted to drink my response was I’m fine at the moment thanks they said are you sure there’s wine beer cafferys wow I said I love cafferys il have one of those happy days. So had half a dozen cans through afternoon/evening and as I got pissed I noticed I wasnt laughing and being silly pissed like everybody else and how I used to be whilst drinking I became more subdued and quite and found I didn’t like what I was feeling!! So I slept it off and was in a way so happy that I’d done that the previous day because as I said it was never my real intention to give up forever even though as time went on I was continually wondering weather it would be or not? And yesterday just highlighted how much I don’t like drinking anymore and how fxxcking great I feel without booze. I answered not only other people’s question but I answered my own question to myself by getting pissed yesterday!! Happy days I feel great lost 47 pounds this year eat mainly healthy and do gym 4 times a week!! Alcohol can DO ONE as far as I’m concerned lol👍
