Everything that we talk about here is always going to be about ideas of powerlessness, or lack of control or loss of control.
From this perspective, I think when when you’re drinking a lot, this powerlessness over alcohol is just an idea, which I find completely apparent. So I’m out of control, and powerless, and that’s the thing that always kept me drinking alcohol from for a long time. And that’s where I’m coming up. There’s excuses all over the place, there is that individual excuse that we all use. And then there is the societal excuse, the society itself.
So what’s the point? The point is, the clock is ticking. If you’re not going to do it now, when you’re going to do it?
