Do You Feel Guilty About Your Past Alcohol Use? Why Do You Feel Guilty?

by | Stop Drinking Alcohol | 5 comments

What are the two different types of guilt? Did you know what you were doing? We were duped from birth. Raised in a world where drinking alcohol is normal. Parent/grandparent.

What you do once you know, alcohol is not good for you or your family, those people in your life you are close with, it’s not good for the human body in general, this is a different type of guilt. You don’t want that. Leave the guilt in the past because you’re not culpable. What you do from now on is a different story.

No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future!

Until next time…

As I’ve mentioned before.. AA does not work for me either.. I’m so glad you mentioned that.. I’m now about 14 days in for my at least 10th attempt.. again.. your approach is the most effective I’ve ever come across.. I will stick with Alcohol Mastery Thanks, Mark..

    Hi Kevin,

A little bit uncomfortable, as in the beginning I was not complicit, but laterally I knew what I was doing to myself and family was harmful, and it still took years to stop…I will never totally forgive myself…..it’s a bit like suicide, quite selfish really, but if you are so hooked it can be hard to see a way out…with the help of your vlogs and books I have finally made it out. THANKYOU.

I tend to agree with you about AA philosophy,,,I know it helps many, and everyone should do what helps them most, but I prefer to think of myself as someone who was physically and mentally addicted to drinking alcohol and who had a problem with alcohol, but now that I do not drink alcohol I am now neither of those things..and just want to rebuild myself and my life…

    Hi Kevin
Alcoholics try to accuse the people who quit alcohol of being the alcoholic.I quit alcohol 134 days ago but I still go to the pub and ever since I quit, the people in the pub still try to get me to drink when what they don’t realize is there is only a 5% difference between a pint of cola and a pint of beer and that 5% is a poison and a expensive one.I don’t go to the pub as much as I use to though because I find people who get drunk for the fun of it boring. Now in my spare time I make candles and read books.
