Today, I want to talk about breaking free from the habit of instant gratification.
This is in terms of trying to get you away from thinking about alcohol or cigarettes or whatever else it is that you’re trying to break from. I think even on a personal level, some people don’t care about what’s happening in the long term, because they’re not there at the moment, but you will get there. That’s the biggest problem with an individual thing. And if you’re looking for quick wins, instead of real long term solutions, you’re always going to be stuck in that short termism. The real destruction is in the mindset.
