This is week 36 of my journey into alcohol mastery! This edition of the Stop Drinking Alcohol looks at the unlikely event that you relapse and have a drink. What should you do? The most important thing is not to play ‘the blame game’. Be positive and try to learn from your mistakes. First, isolate the factors that triggered the relapse. Once you are aware of the triggers, you are more likely to be able to spot them the next time and be able to deal with them. Finally, don’t give up. Consider it a quick detour on your trip to freedom. Onwards and Upwards!
