    Hi Kevin,

I have been Tee-total for 9 months now and am in all respects much better for it. Your videos and book helped me considerably. Much seems obvious now of course but not when I was drinking.

I woke up one Sunday morning after two bottles of red wine plus beer the night before feeling really down. That was the last time I drank. Then I starting looking at your stuff…Thanks again. Steve.

Hi Kevin, Good to see you again. Excellent message today. Thank you. A little over two years ago I participated in a writers’ workshop titled, Hooked: Memoir of Addiction.
I wrote a little story about myself and my drinking habits. I used the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde comparison as well. I think you would enjoy it. I’ll find it somewhere in my files & send it to you by e-mail attachment. Thanks again, Dean

Great video. So true about how much time is wasted and loss of true connections with our loved ones.
It’s become so normalized in our society. Sad.

It is very sad, but very happy once you cop onto that and do something about it!

    Hi Kevin

    Thank you !

Genuine words of wisdom. My journey of becoming the person I know I am without the bullsh** of alcohol gets better every day. I’m really loving my journey through life now without that bitch of a monkey on my back alcohol directing me. Raising a mug of tea to you and the others seeing the light without the haze of alcohol !

    Cheers mate

    Hi Kevin
I woke up the morning following fathers day 2015.Yep 7 days ago today.
I hate to admit this but it may help others come clean.
I had fell during the night on my way to the bathroom , the laminate floor was covered in piss where I had fell and could not get up. I had bitten my tongue and blood was mixed in with the pool of piss.
I somehow got back to bed and woke with shame and blooded pillows and the hangover from hell.
I started to look for help on the computer and found your book on audiobooks Things are going well so far .
I have not drunk since ( 7 Days ) not long I know however i have joined the gym again and started tai chi classes .
I have told my girlfriend and the world no more drinking for me I didn’t mention the pissing myself . My life will now change. I believe that as a truth . Thank you for your help.

Hi there from Montana Kevin! I’ve been listening to your material and I really like what you are doing. I’ve been sober now for over 16 years and drank heavily for about 30 years. As you have mentioned, not drinking is WAY better! I love making the crisp, clean, decisions you speak of with my much improved brain. When I quit 16 years ago my brain was so muddled I couldn’t get all the larts of a simple check filled out. Now I have a great job that involves tons of math and I have no problem. Quitting also allowed me to catch colon cancer in time to save my life. I am grateful to you for passing on such good information. Keep up the good work!

Phenomenal video Kevin, I love your candor. honesty transparency and insight. This video really speaks to me about being “present” and how to do that without alcohol. I do understand, as I find that you do, that alot of our issues with alcohol starts and ends with our minds and our insecurities and needs. I love the development part of your video and that way you present it.

    Hi Kevin,
Over the last week I have been on you tube looking at all sorts of alcohlic stories etc.
I ended up on your site , and I found it so helpful , I watched from your week one , right through to a year . ( while sober ) . My deal is , I have been drinking every evening for the last 10 or so years. Its generally a 4 pack of bourban and coke , and a six pack of beers, sometimes more , some times less. So… its not the black-outs , not the big nights out,
not the vodka , or any of the life destroying stories ive been looking at.
Its just the total fact , that im sick of it , and it has little affect , and the fianancail side of things. The fact is its been 3 years now since I had a day off it. I am only on day 2 now , and would like to keep it that way. I feel a bit stupid even sending this , but probably do have an alcohol problem. I will have a closer look at your site , as I am interested to know , if there are any others that are mabey on a lower scale than others ( the bottles of vodka etc, as mentioned ) that still hold their jobs , lifes etc. .. but have just had enough.

    Thanks for your videos.

    Mark.

      Hi Mark,

I was wondering if you are still going strong mate since you posted 6 days ago?

I have been drinking for 25-30 years but have a high paying job etc. Never been on the vodka and can sort of keep it to 5 cans and a couple of very large scotches at weekends but then every few months seem to need a binge session lasting 4-5 days and then I feel so low and down and truly grim. Then I tend to stop for a while, start to feel fine and off we go again. Have been dry now for 3 weeks and feel great and hope to stay this way now

Hi Kevin I have being listening to you for a little while and finally made the decision to stop drinking on the 6/9/15 on my Ma’s 76th birthday. I took her away for the weekend and the only thing that was a problem was my drinking. Location was great, show was great, company was great except for my company after drinking. I feel ready to be accountable for this now hence the post. Thank you for your talks which I relate to.

Hey Kevin, My selfishness in a bottle of more, more, deliriousness took me into a deep dark vortex of numbness, shame, guilt, and down right hating myself to the point of no return UNTIL I found Alcohol Mastery.

Here I thought it was just me thinking about the next bottle or how to trick myself for a 2nd second glass a wine and sneaking just a sip more after dinner is so real to me. I was selfish, protective of it, and wanted to hide it.

Your videos have given me strength, encouragement, much to think about, ponder and study, and Kevin I have been trying to do this for years. I listen to your videos, audios on iTunes, FB page and YouTube, Blob, and your emails (and who in the world emails their following to check on them and to encourage them…nobody but you!), I can’ t help but stay on top, fully charged and full of energy, given no thought of alcohol, no triggers, craving, urges or desire whatsoever!

I cannot thank you enough. I know…I am still a rookie at this, it has only been since Sept 3rd, but feels like a lifetime and I love it!

Much appreciated Kevin, you have changed my life and those around me!

You will feel shattered for months after quitting because you ARE chronically tired . Whilst drinking you don’t deep sleep ….
It’s booze induced sleep ! Very different ! And not healing sleep…..
So keep it up ! Bravo you ok !!!! I am on my 4th month and it’s gets easier and your mind clears ….. You enjoy the clarity and behind to wonder how you survived life before xxxx hugs

I then ( vaguely amused) sat watched and listened ( I had no choice ) to an intelligent doctor become loud boring persistently invasive on the topic of Jewish refugees
????……. Ooookay ! NOT ! ….. He rocked up the next morning and was unable to complete the exam ! All because he drank !
