    Hi Kevin

Hope you are keeping well. Great video, I really liked it. Would you be able to recommend any books or videos on mindfulness? Is is something I would like to know more about.
I have a suggestion on a topic you may want to talk about. It’s FASD, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Not sure if this topic is a bit out there for you, maybe it is something you would not cover. I have a close friend where I live who has a family member with FASD. It has been devestating for the family. Torn them apart really. There is a lot of anger and frustration with the individual. It makes me sad to see a situation like that.
Then today I read an article in the Irish Independent newspaper about ‘Pint Baby’. It is a story about a photo that was taken 20 years ago with a baby drinking from a pint in a pub. Is is been made out to be great ‘craic’ and everyone is loving it. His mother says there is no problem with dipping a soother in a drink and giving to a child. I think a year ago or so I would not have given this story a second thought. But now knowing the devastating affects of alcohol I find it hard to read stuff like this in a major newspaper. Maybe your thoughts on this?

    Thanks,

    Will H.

I haven’t read that much on mindfulness, to be honest… I’ve been digging around with some YouTube videos, a lot of Internet searching, and I did a course on The Teaching Company called “The Science of Mindfulness…”
I’ve seen that photo of the pint baby… How times change… when you are watching television, it’s rare to see people smoking nowadays, less you’re watching a series about the past… Alcohol consumption is another issue… It’s everywhere… Hopefully, that too will disappear in time
