5 Surprising Savings By Not Using Alcohol

by | Stop Drinking Alcohol | 3 comments

Not long after I stopped using alcohol, I worked out that I was saving about $12000 a year, and that wasn’t including all the money I was wasting outside of my drinking or the money I wasn’t earning because of my life choices.
In this video, I wanted to look at things from another perspective. Most people think about money when the topic of savings and alcohol is brought up. But what about all the other savings you are going to make when you get rid of this destructive habit.

Hey Kevin! I’ve watched probably almost a hundred of your videos in the last two days and you have seriously been helping me alot. But my problem is that I live literally next door to a pub. it’s my entire social circle right down to the old man regulars. I have no idea what to do without going out should I move? I love my apartment but Like I don’t know how I can avoid this should I ween myself off more gradually? It’s been two days and I’m really struggling fighting the urges I mainly don’t know what to do with my time I think feeling lonely is a big part of my problem. At this point it wouldn’t be much in my system so I think it’s just in my head. From everything you’ve said I drink the exact same way you used to so if anyone can help me it’s you.
