What Happens When You Make A Clear Decision to Quit Drinking Alcohol

by | Stop Drinking Alcohol | 0 comments

Let’s talk about what happens when you have a clear commitment to achieving what you want in this life? When you’ve got 100% commitment, and you take 100% responsibility for the things you’re doing in life… When you move forwards, you move with a methodical, step by step approach to doing things. No matter what’s happening around you, you keep moving forwards… You keep pushing yourself to take the next step… How will your life benefit from that?

Hello, I’m Kevin O’Hara for alcohol mastery dot com.

Let’s talk about what happens when you have a clear commitment to achieving what you want in this life.

When you’ve got 100% commitment, and you take 100% responsibility for the things you’re doing, and you move on and take a step by step approach to doing things, and you do it regardless of what else is happening around you, then you’re going to achieve whatever you want to in this life.

You’re going to get most of the things that you want to achieve in this life.

When you commit 100%, when you push yourself to do these things, you’re going to get to those results a lot quicker than you otherwise would have done.

We’re talking about this from the perspective of removing one of the biggest obstacles that you’re ever going to face in your life, and that’s the alcohol.

When you take the alcohol out of the equation, it’s like strapping a rocket to your back.

You just give yourself so much of a boost, you automatically take away so many different…it’s not just the alcohol that is an obstacle in your way, it’s the other things that come as pat and parcel of the alcohol life.

Once you are committed 100% and you take that decision to do it, it sort of frees you up.

It’s an amazing thing.

99.9% is not good enough.

You can be 99% committed, but it ‘s not committed.

You can think you’re committing yourself to it, but once you allow that but to come into it, that’s when the problems are going to start for you.

Because, you’re always going to have an excuse not to do it.

100% commitment, 100% responsibility means there’s no excuse.

There’s no excuse to do this anymore.

You know the alcohol is no good for you.

You know that the alcohol behaviour is just causing so many different rifts, conflicts, and battles in your life that you don’t need in your life, that shouldn’t be in your life.

We live in a world today where the opportunities to achieve to be the things that we want and to have a happy life are there for everyone in the west.

We’ve got this over and over again.

Shit might be happening outside, politics might be fucking lunatic at this stage.

The world might be going lunatic in certain aspects of life, but we live in a world where once you put the effort in, and you commit yourself to something, you can achieve it.

When I’m talking about making a decision, it’s deciding to either be 100% committed or deciding to not be 100% committed.

It’s a decision either way.

Even not taking a decision is a decision in itself.

You’re making a decision not to make a decision.

Stop letting the alcohol behaviour define who you are as a person.

I did that for 30+ years of my life, and I see it every day of my life now, just people that are allowing the alcohol behaviour, the rituals, the habits, to dictate who they are and what they do, who they spend their lives with, how they spend their time and money.

It defines them as a person, so stop doing that.

Aim towards something you really want in your life, something so powerful in terms of you emotionally, that you would do anything to achieve.

And it can be anything.

What you want to achieve and what I want may be two separate things, but at the end of the day, it’s one of the only things that will pull you forwards and away from the alcohol you’re trying to leave behind.

Get that goal into your head, where you wanna go; have your big reason why.

Make the decision to 100% commit, not 99%, not 99.9%.

It’s not good enough.

100% responsibility.

This is no one else’s responsibility outside of you.

You can’t blame anything else.

Every time you take a drink, you cannot blame something else.

You can look for triggers and explanations, but the book stops there with you.

That’s 100% commitment, and in order to achieve it or anything else, you have to have 100% commitment.

I hope you enjoyed that and got something out of it.
