Onwards and Upwards!
I was advised by my GP to try to wean myself off drinking because I’ve been a daily drinker for over a decade. I’ve experienced withdrawal tremors twice in the last 2 months and he said to consume a small quantity of alcohol to stop them. I really want to stop altogether as I lost a cousin to alcohol through multiple organ failure. I currently have zero appetite, my quality of sleep is awful and I’ve started to experience numbness in my feet in the mornings before I get out of bed. I would normally also wake up very thirsty but I don’t crave water or fruit juice anymore.
