How Do I Know If My Liver Has Been Damaged by Alcohol?

by | Stop Drinking Alcohol | 2 comments

Today’s video is about understanding if your liver has been damaged by alcohol. If you think your liver has been damaged, the best first course of action is to visit your doctor and get yourself checked out.. It is the only way that you can be absolutely sure. Do not take your health into your own hands. I am not a doctor and this video does not constitute medical advice.

Thankyou again maestro for your informative, hard knock truth. I gave up the “piss” as we kiwis say about a month ago, but I’m not keeping tabs as I’ve quit and time for me doesn’t come into it. Thanks to your daily emails I’m feeling a hell of a lot more confident in my quest to lead an alcohol free life. I had a liver scare and it’s not a nice ordeal to go thru. Still being monitored BUT I’ve taken control of my relationship with the bottle. Some friends (big drinkers) laughed at me when I challenged them on the state of their liver. Like you say your body and nobody but you cares about. Bravo Kevin ! You are making a difference in many a “pissheads” life . Thankyou ! I know my kids and my hubby thankyou as well.

Everything you say is good stuff.but do actually realise what an alcoholic is?
I am doing my best to cut right down and stop.but addiction isn’t as simple as you seem to think it is.i cry in bed every night…I’m 58 no wife or kids, live alone.i have fought alcohol for many years, and am starting to get fed up with terrible battle!!! Go to pub to at least have a chat with people!but then coming back home, the idea of the big void in front of me looks depressing and I have to get drink to make me even want to go home.i find it difficult not to buy alcohol.steve mcnall.ps drinking 40 years.
