This week on Stop Drinking Alcohol, I talk about looking 42 weeks off the booze and shifting the weight again. I also take a look back at the first video I did all those months ago, How sad do I really look? I am shocked at the difference, not only in the way I look, but at my whole attitude. I was almost beaten!

What Do You Want to Achieve When You Quit Drinking Alcohol? | SDA41

On Stop Drinking Alcohol Week 41 I talk about what I want to get out of not drinking. Apart from your health, money in your pocket, a bright future, self respect and dignity, a clear mind, and the admiration of all around you, quitting alcohol actually does nothing for you at all. Seriously though, to fill the void left by quitting drinking requires a little thought and planning. Depending on how much time the booze took up of your life, the bigger the hole you’re going to need to fill.

Alcoholic Relapse | How to Deal With Alcoholic Relapse | SDA36

This is week 36 of my journey into alcohol mastery! This edition of the Stop Drinking Alcohol looks at the unlikely event that you relapse and have a drink. What should you do? The most important thing is not to play ‘the blame game’. Be positive and try to learn from your mistakes. First, isolate the factors that triggered the relapse. Once you are aware of the triggers, you are more likely to be able to spot them the next time and be able to deal with them. Finally, don’t give up. Alcoholic – What Does Alcoholic Mean? Are You an Alcoholic? | SDA35

This week’s edition is about how you talk to yourself. Should you call yourself an alcoholic after you’ve quit? Some people think that’s the only way. I have to disagree. Is Quitting Alcohol Difficult? What Can You Do To Help Yourself? SDA32

This is week 32 of my journey into alcohol mastery! In this week’s episode I take a look at the reality of quitting vs. not quitting… Which is the really difficult path? I also talk about how I stopped drinking and the use of alcohol as a social crutch.
