Alcohol Drinking – None Are So Blind As Those Who Refuse To See

by | Stop Drinking Alcohol | 14 comments

Many people are afraid to put their hands up and say, “I’ve enough of taking this drug, following the herd, ruining my life”. Most people are quite willing to poison their bodies, shackle their minds, and handicap their lives, just so they don’t have to take the time to think for themselves on what is good or bad for them. Taking any drug to find something that can only be found in yourself is a massive mistake. Open up your eyes to the damage that this limiting type of thinking is doing to you and those around you.

“None so deaf as those that will not hear. None so blind as those that will not see.” Matthew Henry

Kevin thanks again for a great video, Id like to see you do something on the alcohol industry and how they twist the truth or completely neglect to mention the dangers of alcohol in their commercials, how they glamorize the drinking of it in sports and leisure all the while knowing the truth of their poison, how they are killing us for profit. I’m not as well spoken as you ,but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. thanks again ,Vic

    Hi Kevin,

I agree with the other comments – one of your best videos! You are very passionate about this and, without doubt, are making a huge difference in the lives of many people. I saw a sign outside a pub the other day: ‘Shut up and drink!’. What kind of nonsense is that? Big Alcohol will, one day, have to account for itself in the same way Big Tobacco has had to. You are helping to bring that day closer.

Kevin…..Having 2 glasses of sherry ONCE a year at Xmas is NOT extreme!! My mother did it for many years and she lived to be 95 yrs of age!! Please don’t take your analogies to extremes!! Other than that – you do a GOOD job with your video’s!!

    Best…..Bruce

Kevin…You mentioned salt and coffee in this video!! People are not going to die from a little salt (on certain foods) and 2 cups of coffee everyday!! I think you are being extreme here! They are NOT poisons! Also, thousand’s of world-class Chefs use a “little” salt to cook with in their food preparation! They are not even regulated by the American FDA. Again – my mother used both commodities in moderation ALL her life and lived to be 95 yrs old! How do you explain that!

Again… My 2 cents worth for your consideration.

Thanks Kevin, this is the best one so far. I don’t want to be labeled an alcoholic because I quit drinking…that is nuts, however, it is what has made me continue long after I wanted to stop my nightly wine habit. My father was an alcohol so have always feared being labeled, not for drinking, but for not drinking. Wow, that sounds stupid. This video opened my eyes.

I never tell anyone I am a vegetarian. Nobody deserves an explanation about why I am eating a veggie burger instead of beef and nobody needs an explanation about why I am not having wine. Keep up the videos, you never know when you will say the exact right thing to someone.

    Thanks again.

Thank you, Kevin. This video is my favorite so far as it speaks directly to how I’ve been trying to explain things to my closest friends. I so appreciate your insight and your willingness to share the simplicity of what taking this action is really all about, excellent examples and perfectly laid out. I have been enjoying listening to you talk and want to thank you. Keep up the good work. I’m grateful to you and now I’m a huge fan of yours. Many thanks!
